| ICNIRP maintains a close
liaison and working relationship with IRPA. As required
by its Charter, ICNIRP submits its formal recommendations
on protection against NIR to IRPA for comments. ICNIRP
also collaborates closely with a number of other international
organizations with interests in non-ionizing radiation
protection. These include those with interests specifically
in public and occupational health, such as the World
Health Organization (WHO), the International Labour
Organization (ILO), the International Commission on
Occupational Health (ICOH), the European Commission
(EC). ICNIRP's collaboration with WHO is principally
through its support for the WHO International EMF and
INTERSUN Projects.
