The John McIntyre Conference Centre, where the workshop takes place, is located at 18 Holyrood Park Road, Edinburgh, EH16 5AY. Situated in the middle of a dormitory complex of the University of Edinburgh the center is approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the city center.

Directions and Bus
The conference centre is easily reached by bus. You can make your bus schedule here Lothian Bus. The bus ride from the airport to the city centre costs 6 GBP (return) and a regular one way ticket cost 1.40 GBP. Make sure to have exact change. For directions, please visit this page.

Exhibition at the marquee - Call for manufacturers, publishers and IRPA radiation protection societies - early bird rate until 15 January.

As a manufacturer of instruments and softwares for scientific experimentation and measurements, an editor of scientific publications or an IRPA scientific radioprotection society you are interested in displaying your latest products and innovation to a large community of researchers and governmental radiation protection officers at the next ICNIRP International NIR Workshop, please contact us. Depending on the availability of space and a sufficient number of interessees, the exhibition will take place as a side-event to the workshop lectures. Please send us all your contact details at info@icnirp.org so that we can get in touch with you immediately and start putting together all basic information.

Workshop dinner - The dinner will take place on 10th May from 7.30 to 10.30 pm at the Gateway restaurant in the Royal Botanical Garden. The entrance is at the West Gate on Arboretum Place.

A coach will be picking you up at the John McIntyre Conference Centre at 6.30 pm and at 7.00 pm at the bus stand on Waterloo Place (corner of Carlton Road) and bring you to the venue. Look for an AAA Coaches. We will bring you back at 10.30 to the Waterloo Place and then JMCC.

Please book your dinner at time of registration and until 2nd May at the latest for you and also for your accompanying guest(s). If you have missed booking your dinner by 2nd May at the latest, send us an email. Unfortunaltey, onsite dinner registration will not be possible this time.
