Providing clear and accurate information to the community about radiation is what David Sibenaler does in his communication role at the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA).  Aside from collaborating with ICNIRP, David is also supporting an International Commission on Radiological Protection task group’s communication work. Prior to joining ARPANSA, David was a journalist and science show presenter. He holds a Masters in Science Communication from the Australian National University and also completed a Master of Journalism at Monash University, where he wrote a thesis on how Britney Spears’ news was reported by The New York Times in 2007-2008.  He is always looking for ways to reference pop culture in his science communication work. David Sibenaler joined the ICNIRP Collaboration Group in November 2024.
