Felix Meyer

Felix Meyer is currently a Scientific Officer at the Federal Office for Radiation Protection, Competence Center for Electromagnetic Fields. He holds a PhD (magna cum laude) in Radiation Biology from the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, where he studied DNA repair mechanisms in triple-negative breast cancer. His expertise includes homologous recombination, S-phase damage responses, and oxidative stress biomarkers. He has extensive experience as coordinator of radiobiology networks and as principal investigator of large reviews on RF-EMF. With hands-on experience in 3D cell cultures and field-based genetic research, his focus spans cancer biology, environmental radiation, and translational radiotherapy research. Felix Meyer joined the ICNIRP Collaboration Group in November 2024.
