ICNIRP Workshop at BioEM 2026 on the revision of the Low Frequency Guidelines
Yesterday, ICNIRP held its workshop on the revision of the Low Frequency Guidelines at BioEM 2026 in Cairns, Australia. BioEM 2026 brought together the international bioelectromagnetics community from 21–26 June in Cairns.
The workshop focused on the evidence informing the revision of ICNIRP’s low frequency guidelines. The programme included presentations on the current guidelines, systematic reviews of human experimental research and in vivo, in vitro and in silico studies, an umbrella review of epidemiological research, a review of low frequency dosimetry, and issues related to the revision of IEEE C95.1-2019.
